On friday night I had the opportunity to make my way down to Meremere drag strip to watch some of the drag racing for the final meet of the season for the NightSpeed Dragwars. It's always a good chance to see what people are racing and new ideas people have come up with their cars. I was also quite keen to see what my good mate Paul could do in his drag car. In the end he managed a personal best of 10.22 for the quarter mile (400m). All in all a pretty good night and a motivational boost to get some more work on my car done. For interests sake some of the specifications for Paul's car are as follows:

> Custom modified engine internals
> T61 Turbonetics Turbo
> R31 skyline rear end (28 spline minispool I think)
> Full NZHRA Tech inspection
> From memory pushing upward of 380kW
> Street legal!
Most of the pictures I got were pretty average but gives you a pretty good idea on what the night is about.
